Buildwise expanded its cooperation with its client and signed a framework agreement to facilitate both activities. Buildwise has responded flexibly and quickly to the client’s needs.

The Nordic office property owner manages several properties across Finland. The company needed a reliable partner in Pirkanmaa and contacted Buildwise to assist with rental space modifications, Long-Term Plan renovations and building services development projects.

In the past, the client company had worked with different partners, but the processes and practices varied widely. This made it difficult to complete the assignments. The client wanted to clarify and harmonise its practices across Finland and to facilitate the ordering and execution processes for assignments. The aim was to introduce a framework contract that would allow smooth cooperation, communication and cost monitoring through ERP systems.

The client company had already used Buildwise as a consultancy support, but now the companies entered into a framework contract for building services engineering and consultancy. This would make it easier for both. Buildwise immediately took on a number of projects, and during the first year of cooperation, Buildwise carried out projects such as:

  • Studies on the need for renovation of the heating system
  • Design and tendering of building automation system renovation projects
  • Supervision of the implementation of electric vehicle charging points
  • Tendering and organisation of ventilation flue systems in 7 buildings
  • Lighting upgrades
  • Several cost estimates and budgeting support

In addition, Buildwise served clients in areas such as damp damage repairs and asphalt repair construction projects. These are not part of the core service offering, but Buildwise has expertise in these areas.

The cooperation has gone well and Buildwise has been able to respond to the customer’s needs flexibly and quickly. At the same time, the client’s resources have been freed up for other tasks.

Buildwise is particularly praised for its professional, high-quality and comprehensive service, as well as its initiative. As customer confidence in Buildwise has grown over time, the number of service contracts has increased. In addition, companies have started to discuss energy efficiency projects.
